Faculty of Technology
As the name prompts the Faculty particularly focuses on technical spheres. Doc. Ing. Rudolf Kampf, Ph.D. is the director. The faculty consists of 4 departments (Department of Transport and Logistics, Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Informatics and Natural Sciences). The Faculty is responsible for the technical fields of study and controls the construction of the new laboratories.
Faculty of Corporate Strategy
The Faculty of Corporate Strategy is rather humane-oriented. It is basically responsible for the disciplines related to “Business Economics”, the main bachelor programme of the Faculty. This programme has the longest tradition at ITB and has been taught since the foundation of the Institute. The FCS also guarantees the continuing master programme “Business Economics” as well as a newly accredited bachelor programme “Human Resource Management”. The FCS also organizes educational programmes of “Study in the field of pedagogic sciences for teachers of professional subjects, practical training and professional training” and “Study in the field of pedagogic sciences for teachers of professional subjects and professional training in the sphere of economics”, which it provides to the Lifelong Education Centre. Ing. Michal Ruschak, MBA is the Director of the Faculty.
The Faculty of Corporate Strategy covers the activities of three departments (Department of Human Resource Management, Department of management and Department of Tourism and Marketing), and the Centre of Language Services. More about the individual departments,
The members of the academic staff of the faculty are deeply involved in research, project and publication activities in the fields related to the specialization of the Faculty and the individual departments.
School of Expertness and Valuation
The staff of the School of Expertness and Valuation consists of expert witnesses, academics and experts from practice. The School of Expertness and Valuation was established on 1 July 2015 and, on the basis of the decision of the Ministry of Justice, was entered in Section 1 of the List of Expert Bodies in the field of Economics, in accordance with Act No. 36/1967 Coll., on Experts and Interpreters, as amended. The School is authorized to carry out expert opinions in the field of financial assets, the valuation of enterprises, the review and assessment of the transformations of business companies, the review and assessment of relations, contracts, prices and other facts according to the Commercial Code, accounting records, the valuation of intangible assets, non-monetary deposits, investments, wages, valuation of movable and immovable property.
