Department of Management
The Department of Management is one of the profile departments of the Faculty of Corporate Strategy of ITB in České Budějovice. The department ensures instruction and creative activities in management disciplines in Bachelor study programmes as well as in Master study programmes in part-time and full-time forms of study. Instruction is ensured in cooperation with expert from practice, especially from the South Bohemian Region, in the form of expert lectures, seminars, and excursions, supervising students´ Bachelor and Master theses, external examination of theses, etc. Within their research activities, the members of the department closely cooperate with the corporate sector, especially with the companies operating in South Bohemia. Department of Human Resources Management
The Department of Human Resources Management is one of the cornerstones of the Faculty of Corporate Strategy. At present, we guarantee a Bachelor study programme HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT, which is a unique study programme in the Czech Republic, as well as other Bachelor and follow-up Master study programmes both in the full-time and part-time form of study, concerning HR management, business ethics and CSR, applied psychology and courses related to the development of managerial skills, organizational culture, intercultural management, employee training and development and other areas associated with HR development and competencies. Selected subjects are taught also in English both for Czech and foreign students within the Erasmus programme.
The Department of Human Resources Management is also a guarantor of a very popular study programme PEDAGOGY FOR TEACHERS OF VOCATIONAL SUBJECTS, PRACTICAL INSTRUCTION, AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING aimed at the development of competencies in the field of pedagogy and psychology required by the teachers of vocational subjects. Department of Tourism and Marketing
The Department of Tourism and Marketing is a guarantor of a newly accredited Bachelor study programme Business analyst and subjects and courses within Bachelor and follow-up Master study programmes. The department ensures instruction and creative activities in marketing, business, and regional scientific disciplines in Bachelor and Master study programmes in part-time and full-time form of study. Experts from practice, predominantly from the South Bohemian Region, participate in teaching mainly in the form of expert lectures within individual subjects. The head of the department is doc. Ing. Petra Pártlová, Ph.D.

Centre of Language Services
The Centre of Language Services of the Faculty of Corporate Strategy ensures language instruction for the entire Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice. The languages taught are mainly English and German (general language), which are taught in all Bachelor study programmes. In addition, English for specific purposes is taught in two Bachelor and two follow-up Master study programmes, namely Construction, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics. The output level ranges from B1 to B2 depending on individual study programmes. Recently, the Centre of Language Services has become an official preparation centre for Cambridge exams (both English and German).
Projects at Faculty of Corporate Strategy
Within its research and scientific activities, the Faculty of Corporate Strategy deals also with projects with the aim to fully use the available grants intended for higher education institutions. With regard to its specialization, the Faculty of Corporate regularly applies for projects focused on various economic disciplines and education. This involves establishing cooperation with domestic and foreign project partners. The funds obtained through projects contribute significantly to continuously expanding the scope and improving the quality of education offered by the Faculty of Corporate Strategy and to linking research conducted with practice.
