Students of the VŠTE in České Budějovice from further distances have the opportunity to use the accommodation facilities with all-week operation directly on the campus, in the accommodation part of the D building and at the Hochtief hostel, which is located near the VŠTE.
The accommodation is located in Building D on the 6th floor. On the ground floor in the lobby there is a reception, rest areas and a coffee stand.
Rooms
There are 2 rooms in each accommodation cell, which share a bathroom and toilet. There are lockable wardrobes and a fridge in the hallway of the living cell.
Standard amenities in all rooms include 2 beds, a desk with chairs and wardrobes. Students can use their own computer with internet access in the rooms.
There is a shared kitchen for students, which has basic cooking facilities: a kitchenette, cooker, freezer, microwave and kettle.
Nighttime is from 10 pm to 6 am. Visitors are allowed by appointment at reception between 6:00 and 22:00.
Students are responsible for cleaning their own rooms, cell hallways, bathrooms and toilets. Bed linen is changed once a week (at the designated time).
Students are kept informed via bulletin boards, emails and, where appropriate, on the notice board of the information system.
The price of accommodation for a duly enrolled VŠTE student is CZK 4200 / month. This amount must be paid no later than the last day of the previous month. Students pay an accommodation deposit of CZK 8400 upon handover of the room, which is fully refundable upon completion of the accommodation if the room is handed over in good order. In the event of damage to the room and the borrowed inventory, the deposit will be refunded less the cost of the damage caused.
The fee for the use of the automatic washing machine for students is 50 CZK for 1 use / 4 hours.

Other accommodation options
1. Educo dormitory
There are 90 beds and appropriate equipment for university students. Each suite consists of 3 or 2 rooms with shared bathroom, kitchen with kitchen unit, fridge, dishes… Educo dormitory offers accommodation for couples, flats for groups of students or individuals. There is also free parking place. In the building there are also study rooms and a gym. The cleaning of common parts is ensured.
The school is situated in the Štítného street in the town centre. The dormitory (block of flats) is situated in newly reconstructed buildings, where there is also a school, a car park and a garden.
Prices:
- 1,990,– CZK/month in four-bed rooms,
- 2,390,– CZK/month in three-bed rooms,
- 2,590,– CZK/month in double bedrooms,
- 2,730,– CZK/month in single rooms with shared bathroom
The rent must be paid no later than on the 15th day of the month, in advance. Upon arrival, the rent for the first month and the deposit of 2,000 CZK (a damage deposit) is paid. At the end of the stay, the deposit is refunded.
The price of the accommodation includes cleaning of common parts, electricity and water, insurance, waste collection, TV connection, using study rooms, all common spaces of the complex including the garden, car park (according to its capacity), etc.

2. Ubytovna u nádraží (Hostel at the railway station)
It offers special types of rooms and special prices of accommodation for students.
From 2,400 CZK / month.
The hostel is situated in the centre of České Budějovice, opposite the Mercury Shopping centre (bus station, shopping mall, about 100 m from the railway station).
WiFi internet
The guests have free wireless internet access at their disposal.
On each floor, there is a small kitchen the students can use for free during the whole stay. The kitchens are fully furnished, including necessary electrical appliances.
All rooms are suite type, with two rooms sharing the bathroom and toilet.
