Admission for Erasmus+ and international exchange students WINTER 2024

The schedule for the 2024-2025 winter semester is as follows:

The lecture period starts on September 23 and ends on December 22, 2024.

The exam period starts on January 6 and ends on February 2, 2025.

The week prior to the first lecture period, Orientation week is held by our student organisation ESN.

Orientation week is recommended for all international exchange and Erasmus students.

VISA: EU citizens (or citizens of the Schengen Area) do not need a visa or a permit to study in the Czech Republic.  Non-EU citizens who wish to become exchange students in the Czech Republic are required to have a long-stay visa when arriving in the country. We advise to start with the visa process as soon as possible. Keep in mind that the long-term visa process can take up to 60 days (2 months).

Erasmus+ students upload mandatory application documents via our online mobility system: An upload link is sent to your email address.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  1. A signed application form to be filled out within the mobility system.
  2. Transcript of records from your home university.
  3. Learning agreement: Send us your LA via email or the mobility system for further confirmation.
  4. Accommodation contract or document (housing reservation form).
  5. Copy of travel health policy certificate.
    • a) EU citizens upload a copy of their EHIC card into our application system. However, it is strongly recommended to buy commercial insurance, as the EHIC covers basic health care.
    • Non-EU citizens: The best option is to buy a 5-month Foreigners´ Health Insurance EYXCLUSIVE with POJISTOVNA VZP, a.s. For more information, contact the coordinator.
