International business week
As a part of international business week held in Institute of Technology and Business in Ceske Budejovice a meeting between Vice-rector for Learning and Teaching Activities Lenka Hruskova and representatives of Foreign Economic Activity Department of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics took place.
This meeting was a pleasant continuation of cooperation between the Department and Institute of Technology and Business, sprang up on the coast of Black Sea during the international business week held in Anapa (coordinated by Permyakova E.V. and Rozhanskaya E.A). Moreover, in March 2014 Vice-Rector Lenka Hruskova provided a report for the 5-th Annual International Conference "Russia's strategic interests in the global economy ", carried out by the Department of Foreign Economic Activity together with the state authorities of the Russian Federation and the leading Russian and foreign universities.
The Foreign Economic Activity Department is training bachelors with fundamental basic knowledge complying with the international educational standards. With the help of the teachers of the Department, students are introduced to the planning and organization processes of foreign economic activity both at the federal and regional levels, as well as to the issues of organizational and legal construction of foreign trade companies.
The Department conducts trainings of masters in the profile of the department and guides the work of graduate students in the broad variety of topics. In terms of teaching, the department provides the entire educational process on Economics.
The Department acts as the leading element in the development of educational systems of the Russian Higher School on the issues of foreign trade of a company, regions and Russia as a whole.
Today, Vice-rector for Learning and Teaching Activities of Institute of Technology and Business in Ceske Budejovice and vice-head of Foreign Economic Activities Department (Plekhanov Russian University of Economics) Rozhanskaya E.A., who was invited to Ceske Budejovice in order to participate in the business week, discussed further cooperation and possibility of joint publications in scientific journals in Russia and the Czech Republic.
