Diploma Supplement LabelThe Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice was awarded the prestigious DS Label by the European Commission for the period 2011-2014. The certificate was presented to a representative of VŠTE at a conference in Copenhagen on 8th May 2012, which was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Erasmus programme. The DS Label is proof that the structure of the supplement to the diploma awarded to VŠTE graduates fulfils the requirements recommended by the European Commission.

 

VŠTE Succeeded in the Czech 100 Best Competition

Czech 100 bestThe prestige of the Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice continues to grow. Confirmation of this came when our Institute won an award in this year’s Czech 100 Best competition in the departmental category Health – Education – Humanity.  The award was presented to the Vice-Chancellor, Ludmila Opekarová, during a gala party at Prague Castle (Friday, 29th November), held on the occasion of the 18th year of this competition. The competition is organised by Comenius, a pan-European company for culture, education, and scientific and technical cooperation. The only other establishment to receive an award this year in this category was the Česká zemědělská universita Praha (Czech University of Life Sciences Prague).

 

ECTS label

The European Commission used to award ECTS Label to selected educational institutions declaring the correct use of ECTS. Being a holder of such a prestigious award was a mark of high quality for the school. VŠTE obtained this certificate in 2012-2015. This award is no longer awarded, but we still respect the established ECTS rules. More information about credits and credit system here.

 

Faculty of the Year Award – Second Place
